When a malfunctioning pump is stuck in a well, the well is useless. Often, the force required to dislodge a stuck pump exceeds the load rating of most pump rigs. Eaton Pumps developed a portable hydraulic jack system that can produce up to 300 tons of force. In most cases, our jack system can either dislodge a stuck pump system, or safely pull it to failure so that components can be removed above the problem area. In some cases, the components that remain in the well can be driven down to the bottom so that the damaged well casing can be repaired using swaging and patching procedures. With the casing repaired, the remaining pump components can then be fished out of the well unobstructed.
